What if you could...
✅ Check in a family in seconds — parents show a pass on their phone at the door, and brothers and sisters check in together; no clipboards, no line-up
✅ Put every child in the right group automatically — by age on the day or by school year, with group sizes and staff ratios checked as children arrive
✅ Know exactly who is collecting each child — staff see the adult's photo next to the child's, and match a code from the child's label
✅ Stop the wrong adult at the door — a name on a family's do-not-release list is refused quietly, and only your safeguarding lead is told
✅ Let a child ask for help without a phone — three big buttons on a beeper reach the group leader first, even when the Wi-Fi is down
✅ Never leave a child waiting alone — reminders, calls to parents and emergency contacts, and escalation at 15, 30 and 60 minutes after pickup time
So that every child goes home with the right adult — and you can show exactly who released whom, and when.

This fits you if you are...
🏕️ Running a day camp or a weekly kids' program — camps, church kids' ministries, after-school clubs, sports and lessons
🚪 Losing sleep over drop-off and pickup — the two busiest moments of the day, and the riskiest
📋 Still on paper sign-in sheets and name stickers — or using a check-in app that stops at the front door
📵 Running activities where phones aren't allowed — children can't reach a leader, and parents can't reach their child
🧾 Answerable to parents, insurers and your board — you need to show who released which child, to whom, and when
If two or more of these describe your program, keep reading. If none of them do, honestly — this isn't for you, and we'll tell you that on the call.

A beeper, not a phone.
Many programs don't allow phones, and young children don't have one. The Kid Beacon beeper is a small device your program hands out at check-in and collects at pickup.
🟢 Three big buttons — I'm OK, Come get me and I need help, easy for a five-year-old
📳 A short note from home — "Love you" or "Pickup in 10 minutes", held until the activity ends
🧑🏫 Help goes to staff first — the group leader and the coordinator know at once; parents hear from staff, calmly, once someone is with their child
📶 Works when the Wi-Fi doesn't — the beeper talks to the leader's phone over Bluetooth, and the phone catches up when the connection returns
📍 Knows when a child wanders off — if a beeper loses touch with its leader's phone, the leader is alerted
The beeper is offered to pilot programs. In the demo, it runs on a second phone.
That's not all — included in every pilot:
🛠️ Set up for your program — your groups, ages, ratios, rooms and staff, configured with you
👨👩👧 Family onboarding — invitations and a short guide for parents; nothing for parents to install
🎓 Training for leaders and coordinators — a short session and a one-page guide for each role
📟 Beepers for your pilot groups — supplied for the pilot, with a charging tray
🍁 Your data in your country — hosted in Canada for Canadian programs and in the United States for US programs
🩺 Weekly check-ins during the pilot — we watch the first sessions closely and fix what comes up
